Two of the nation’s best-known weight loss programs have officially joined forces in an effort to combat obesity in children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults.

According to a Feb. 1 press release, CRC Health Group has blended elements of its Wellspring Weight Loss program (for adolescents and teenagers) into Structure House’s residential weight loss program for adults.

The result is Wellspring at Structure House, which CRC launched in order to ensure an up-to-date and effective weight management programming that provides a continuing line of support through every stage of life.

“Combining the two programs underscores the recognition that weight control actually covers the entire span of life,” said Gerard J. Musante, Ph.D, founder of Structure House.  “Creating this partnership of Wellspring and Structure House has the potential of challenging current thinking in an effort to learn about the possibilities for change and the life-long skills that can make that change possible.”

Wellspring at Structure House’s focus will approach the mind, body and spirit in a new way by reinforcing cognitive therapeutic solutions to weight loss issues.  Updated options at the new Wellspring at Structure House include the folllowing:

  • New culinary experiences by professional chefs
  • More than 50 exercise classes
  • New spa treatments
  • Cllinical therapies to help clients master the proven steps for living a healthy lifestyle with sustainable results that do not end when they return home.

Clients can enroll in Wellspring at Structure House for periods as short as one week, but clinicians at programs suggest a minimum four-week residence to achieve maximum benefit.
